An alcohol stove is the quietest, simplest and lightest way to boil water. There is no pump, no jet, no valve and no cartridge — a cup of fuel, a wick and a flame. Nothing in it can fail, it works at any altitude, and the fuel is available anywhere in the world under half a dozen names. The trade is that it is slower than gas and the flame is hard to see in daylight.

Thirteen grams. A side-burner alcohol stove 50 mm across and 32 mm tall, holding 15 ml of fuel, which Evernew publish as enough to boil 300 ml of water. It is designed to sit directly under a cup of about 12 cm diameter — no stand, the cup sits on the stove.

🔴 Read this before you compare prices: the BLUENOTE is aluminum, not titanium. Evernew publish the material plainly, and it sits on the shelf next to a titanium stove that costs slightly less. What you are paying for here is not the metal — it is the size and the weight: 13 grams and 50 mm across, which is smaller and lighter than anything titanium in the range.

Evernew make a pre-heating plate for this stove specifically, which holds alcohol in a ring underneath to help it light and make it easier to handle. We stock it, and the BLUENOTE Set bundles the two.

No fuel is included and we do not ship it. This burns alcohol only — denatured alcohol or methylated spirit, which you can buy at a hardware store or pharmacy. Evernew’s own note is that if you buy alcohol fuel at a pharmacy you can boil water with it.

Warranty

Evernew offer a one-year limited warranty. Not a lifetime guarantee — we mention it because several brands in this category do offer one and it would be easy to assume.
