A one-person pour-over coffee maker that collapses to nest inside a camp mug. Collapses to 3.8 in., expands to 5.5 in. high.

An 8 fl oz (230 ml) drip cone funnels hot water through, and the hopper holds up to 3.5 fl oz — about 10 grams — of medium-grind coffee. That is one proper cup.

There is no paper filter to buy or carry. It has its own filter screen, which is the reason to pick this over a drip cone: nothing to run out of, nothing to pack out wet, nothing to forget.

The folding legs sit on the rim of a mug. Boil, pour slowly in circles, let it draw through, fold it flat.

A mug is not included — GSI sell this to nest inside one you already have.

Grind medium. Too fine and it stalls; too coarse and it runs straight through weak.

Nylon and clear polypropylene. GSI's description mentions a stainless steel filter while their materials list names only the plastics, so we are describing it as a filter screen and leaving the metal claim alone.

Hand wash. GSI warn that dishwashers may prematurely age the components. Nothing in this range is listed as dishwasher safe.
