Walls turn an awning into a room. Shade is only half the problem on a long trip — wind carries dust through camp, afternoon sun comes in sideways under the canopy, and rain blows in no matter how well you pitched it. Zipping walls onto the awning gives you an enclosed space you can cook in, change in, and sit in when the weather turns.

The full-size 270 takes three walls. Wall 3 closes the far end of the sweep — the smallest and least expensive of the three, and the one people most often skip and then buy later in the first properly windy week, because an enclosure open at one end is a funnel.

These are the XD walls, which carry the same blackout coating as the XD canopy. The coating blocks light rather than diffusing it, so an enclosed XD room stays genuinely dark and noticeably cooler than a grey HD one — which matters most if you are trying to sleep past sunrise or get out of real heat in the middle of the day.

Walls are side-specific and model-specific. A driver-side wall will not fit a passenger-side awning, and walls from the LT, LTE or 180 do not fit the full-size 270. Check the model name on your awning's travel cover before ordering — if you are unsure, send it to us and we will confirm.
