A whip hose kit is what connects a four-tire inflation system to the wheels: four hoses, four chucks, one connection at the compressor.

Hoses are consumable. They get driven over, dragged across rock and pinched in tailgates — and a split hose at the trailhead means driving home on trail pressure, which is exactly what you air down to avoid. Carrying a spare set is cheap insurance.

240 inches gives you the reach to work around a full-size truck without repositioning the compressor. The quick-release chucks seat and release in a second, which matters when it is cold and your hands are not cooperating.

Black is the only colour now available. Up Down Air has discontinued the blue, green and red versions of this hose — if you are matching an existing coloured set, black is what you will be adding to it.
