Olicamp Generator Remote Canister Stove System
$59.99
A 6.6 oz remote-canister stove with a sturdy base for large pots. 10,918 BTU.
A canister stove is the fastest way to boil water in camp, and the only real questions are how much it weighs, how fast it boils and how stable it is under a full pot. Here are Olicamp’s own published figures for this one — and note the volume the boil time refers to, because manufacturers quote it against different amounts of water and the numbers are not comparable otherwise.
A remote-canister stove at 189 grams. The canister goes outside on a hose — Olicamp’s words: “the canister remains safely outside the screen” — so the stove can sit inside a windscreen, low and wide. Stainless, brass and aluminum, and Olicamp describe “an exceptionally sturdy base that can support larger, heavier pots.”
For a vehicle where you are cooking in a real pan rather than boiling a sachet, this is the better shape of stove.

Fuel is sold separately — and we do not ship it
This takes a standard screw-on butane/propane canister. Liberty, who distribute Olicamp, describe the fitting on their own canisters as a standard screw-on Lindal valve, which is the common threaded camping-gas fitting you will find in any outdoor shop.
We do not stock or ship the canisters. They are classed as hazardous freight — flammable liquefied gas under pressure — which means no air shipping and a certified shipper. Buy them locally; they are inexpensive and universally available.
One honest note: Olicamp never print the thread standard on their stove pages, only “screw-on butane/propane.” We are not going to quote a standard number they do not publish.
Boil time is per 1 liter, not per quart. And although Olicamp say the base supports larger and heavier pots, they publish no maximum pot diameter or support span, so we cannot give you a number to measure against.
About the “PFC free” label. Olicamp carry a data field on most of their range that reads “PFC Free: Yes.” We are telling you it exists and attributing it to them, and that is as far as we will go — there is no published test, standard or substance list behind it, so it is a supplier checkbox rather than a chemistry statement. We are not claiming PFAS-free, PTFE-free or Teflon-free for any Olicamp product, because Olicamp do not.
