A small pair of tongs sized for the rim of a camp pot. Titanium and aluminum pots have thin rolled rims that conduct heat straight into your fingers, and the folding handles on most of them get too hot to touch once the pot has been on a burner for five minutes. This is the part that makes a lightweight pot usable.

Also the right tool for lifting a hot lid off, which is otherwise a job for a stick.

A note on the data behind this page. This item has no manufacturer part number — the part-number field simply repeats the distributor’s own stock number. That means everything above comes from Olicamp and Liberty Mountain and there is no independent manufacturer spec sheet to check it against. Where a figure is missing below, it is missing because nobody publishes it, and we would rather say so.

About the “PFC free” label. Olicamp carry a data field on most of their range that reads “PFC Free: Yes.” We are telling you it exists and attributing it to them, and that is as far as we will go — there is no published test, standard or substance list behind it, so it is a supplier checkbox rather than a chemistry statement. We are not claiming PFAS-free, PTFE-free or Teflon-free for any Olicamp product, because Olicamp do not.
