The 270 LTE is the lightest and most compact of the three 270-degree awnings, and the least expensive way into wrap-around shade.

Mounts on the driver side and sweeps toward the rear, covering the side, the rear corner and the tailgate area.

Who the LTE is for: a loaded rack, a smaller vehicle, or a first awning where you are not yet sure how much you will use it. It gives up canopy size against the full 270 and the LT, and gives back weight, packed size and about $350 against the full-size version.

Note on walls: LTE walls come as two-wall kits — walls 1 and 2, or walls 3 and 4 — rather than the individually numbered walls the full-size 270 uses. They are not interchangeable between models, so check the listing carefully.
