The Nomadic 2.5 is the longest of the straight-arm side awnings at 8 ft — enough to shade a full-size truck bed or the whole side of a mid-size SUV.

It folds out square from the vehicle on two support legs and covers one side. That is the trade: a straight awning gives you the most shade per dollar, but it does not wrap around the rear corner the way a 180 or 270 does.
