The HD Nomadic 180 opens to a half circle: it shades the side of the vehicle and carries around the rear corner to the tailgate, without the full sweep of a 270.

For a lot of builds the 180 is the right amount of awning. It is lighter and cheaper than a 270, it takes less rack length, and the shade lands where you actually stand — beside the vehicle and behind it.

This listing is the awning on its own. No brackets, no hardware, no accessories. It is the right choice if you already have Nomadic mounts on your rack and are adding or replacing a canopy. If you are starting from nothing, look at the universal version instead, which is sold as a complete setup.
