The XD Nomadic 315 mounts across the rear of the vehicle rather than the side, and opens to cover roughly 315 degrees — the tailgate, both rear corners, and a good part of both sides.

That layout suits a build where the kitchen lives in the back: a slide-out drawer, a tailgate galley, or a rear door pantry. You get shade directly over the work area instead of alongside it, and you can still get in and out of the rear doors.

It is a rear awning, so it does not replace a side awning — plenty of builds run both, one over the cooking area and one over the seating.
