Polycarbonate rather than the usual polypropylene - stiffer, clearer and far more impact resistant. The lid seals, so this is a box for things that must stay dry.
Where it earns the price: documents, a phone, a GPS, matches, or electronics in a canoe or an open bed. A standard utility box is water resistant at best; this one is sealed.
