The 270 wraps around the rear corner of the vehicle, so it carries more canopy and needs more support than a 180 — six poles rather than four.

Buy these as replacements, or as an upgrade if your awning is mounted high. A 3.0 metre pole reaches the ground comfortably from a bed rack, a rack over a camper shell, or a van roof, and lets you pitch the canopy flatter so the shade lands on the ground instead of on the truck.
