A Coghlan's mosquito net for sleeping under.

We are being straight with you about this listing. Coghlan's does not currently publish a page for the Backwoods net, so we have no confirmed dimensions, mesh density or hanging hardware for it — and we are not going to copy the numbers off a different net and hope.

What we can tell you: it is a genuine Coghlan's mosquito net, it sits at the same $24.99 as their Double net, and across the Coghlan's netting range the mesh runs 180 holes per square inch.

If the size matters, ask us before you order and we will get the specification from the supplier. If you want a net we can describe to the inch today, the Hikers, Rectangular and Double nets on this site all have published dimensions.

How to read mesh density. Coghlan's states holes per square inch on every net, and it is the number that decides what gets through. Around 180 holes stops mosquitoes, which is all most people need. No-see-ums — biting midges, punkies, sand flies — are small enough to walk through standard mosquito mesh, and that is the entire reason the 1150 and 1600-hole products exist. If you have ever been bitten through a head net, this is why.

Coghlan's does not publish a permethrin or insecticide treatment for this product, so treat it as plain netting.
