A four-tire inflation system does exactly what the name says: it inflates all four tires at once, from one compressor, through four hoses.

The time saving is not the whole story — the equalising is. Because all four are connected, they come up together and finish at the same pressure, rather than you working around the vehicle one wheel at a time and ending up with four slightly different numbers.

This is the Jeep engine-mount version, supplied with the mounting box, fittings, hoses and storage bag.

Why this matters: dropping tire pressure on the trail lengthens the contact patch, which gives you traction in sand, rock and mud that no amount of throttle will. The catch is the other half — you have to put the air back before you touch pavement. Low pressure at highway speed builds heat, and heat is what destroys tires and unseats beads.

Jeeps get aired down more than almost anything else on the trail, and a Wrangler on 35s is a slow air-up with a single hose. Doing all four at once is the difference between airing down properly and running higher pressure than you should because you cannot face the reinflation.
