A stripper built for heavy battery cable, where a standard tool either will not open far enough or chews the strands on the way through.
Nicked strands are the quiet cause of a lot of 12V trouble — the circuit works, then fails later where the conductor has been reduced under the insulation. On 2/0 and 4/0 cable feeding an inverter, that failure point gets hot.
