A MultiPlus has no screen. Without this you are reading blink codes on an LED panel; with it you get inverter status, shore-power current limit, charge state and battery voltage in VictronConnect.
Where it earns its keep: changing the shore-power input limit from your phone when a campsite pedestal turns out to be 15A rather than 30A. Doing that through DIP switches means getting the unit out.
