A tent awning made for the XD Sherpa Solo roof top tent — it attaches to the tent itself rather than to the rack, and covers the entry.
What it buys you is the doorway. Without one, rain runs straight down the tent opening and into the tent every time somebody comes in or out, and the ladder is in full sun all afternoon. The awning puts a roof over that.

These are model-specific. The Solo, S2S, S3S and S4S each take their own awning — they are sized to the tent and are not interchangeable. Check the model on your tent before ordering.
Fabric and warranty: 320G ripstop poly-cotton oxford with a 5000 PU waterproof rating. XD carries the strongest cover OVS offers — a 6 year fabric warranty and a lifetime structural warranty.
