A 270 wraps from the side of the vehicle around the rear corner to the tailgate, so the shade covers where you cook and where you stand, not just where you park.

XD adds two things over the grey HD version: integrated LED lighting along the arms, and a blackout coating on the fabric that blocks light rather than diffusing it. The shade underneath is darker and cooler, and the lights put usable light on the cooking area without a separate lantern.

This listing is the awning on its own. No brackets, no hardware, no accessories. It is the right choice if you already have Nomadic mounts on your rack and are replacing or upgrading a canopy. If you are starting from nothing, you will also need the bracket kit — or look at the complete package, which bundles the awning with its walls.
