The XD Nomadic 2.0 is the 6.5 ft straight-arm side awning in the XD trim — black canopy, integrated LED lighting along the arms, and a blackout coating on the fabric.

The blackout coating is the reason to pick XD over HD. It blocks light rather than diffusing it, so the shade underneath is genuinely dark and noticeably cooler in the middle of the day. The lights run off the vehicle and put usable light on the cooking area without setting up a separate lantern.
