The Basic is Walkstool’s lighter, simpler stool. Same idea as the Comfort — three aluminum telescopic legs, two sitting heights depending on whether you extend the lower legs — at a lower load rating and a lower price.

The seat is black polyester, about 20% larger than a standard three-legged stool seat, with grey legs to match.

How the Basic differs from the Comfort

• Load rating 330–385 lb, against 440–550 lb for the Comfort
• Standard plastic feet, not the Comfort’s large TPE pads — the Comfort feet are the ones meant to resist sinking into soft ground
• Polyester seat rather than breathable mesh, and a smaller seat
• No carry bag included
• Not compatible with the Walkstool Steady accessory

Walkstool’s own product copy for the Basic states that it is manufactured in China, with quality high enough for most people to use it for many years. Walkstool’s model-comparison table lists Sweden for this line, which contradicts its own description, so we quote the description rather than the table.

Walkstool names its models by seat height in centimeters. Liberty Mountain lists this one by inches; both labels are Walkstool’s own.
