Why 48V systems need this more, not less

A 48V lithium bank is a serious investment, often several thousand dollars. The protection logic is the same as on 12V, but the stakes are higher. And because 48V systems are usually built for larger loads, the draw-down when something is left running is faster.

100A at 48V is roughly 4,800W of load capacity — comfortably more than most house systems pull even with an inverter running hard.

The non-smart version

This is the standard BatteryProtect: thresholds are set with a rotary selector rather than through an app. If you want to set exact cut-off and reconnect voltages for a specific lithium chemistry, the Smart version with Bluetooth gives you that control. For most installs the preset profiles here are perfectly adequate and it costs less.
