A knot-tying course you can actually use: six double-sided laminated cards, grommeted together so they do not get separated, with illustrated step-by-step instructions for the 11 most commonly used knots. And crucially it comes with something to practice on — a 30 in nylon utility cord and an 8 cm aluminum carabiner.

Contents

• Six double-sided laminated, water-resistant skill cards, grommeted together
• Step-by-step illustrated instructions for the 11 most commonly used knots
• One 30 in nylon utility cord for practice
• One 8 cm aluminum carabiner
• UST Watertight Case 1.0

A note on the case: UST calls it the “Watertight Case”, but its own specification says the case is water-resistant and not meant for submersion. The cards are laminated and water-resistant. We are quoting UST’s specification rather than its product name — do not treat this as a waterproof case.

No load rating is published for the carabiner.

Warranty

UST covers its own-brand products with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It excludes batteries, consumable and single-use items, normal wear, cosmetic damage, commercial use and unauthorized repair, and it runs to the original owner with proof of purchase, US residents only.
