A liquid-filled baseplate compass with a sighting mirror in the folding cover. The baseplate is fluorescent green rather than clear, which UST specifies for better contrast against a map — and makes it much harder to lose on the ground.

Specifications

• Liquid-filled baseplate compass with swivel bezel
• Fluorescent green baseplate, 3.7 × 2.5 in, 5 mm thick
• Folding cover with sighting mirror
• Inch, metric and 1:25,000 scales
• Weight 2.4 oz (68 g)

Declination adjustment is not published for this model. It shares the folding-mirror format and the weight of UST’s Folding Map Compass, but only that model documents adjustable declination — so if you need to set declination, buy that one instead.

“Hi Vis” refers to the baseplate color only. UST makes no luminous or glow-in-the-dark claim for any compass in this range, and neither do we.

Warranty

UST covers its own-brand products with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It excludes batteries, consumable and single-use items, normal wear, cosmetic damage, commercial use and unauthorized repair, and it runs to the original owner with proof of purchase, US residents only.
