This is the cover for the current burner. The distributor calls it simply a “wool cover gas burner,” which is ambiguous — Trangia specify GB77, which is the Storm burner we sell. The older orange F74 bag is for the discontinued GB74 burner and is a different part.

Why no two are the same color. The wool is recycled felted offcuts from Woolpower’s production, and the color depends on whatever was being dyed that week. Trangia say so, and it means the one you receive will not match the photograph exactly. We think that is a feature; you should know about it either way.

The fabric is minimum 50% wool, maximum 50% synthetic, 2 mm thick. Trangia’s care instruction is two sentences: “hand wash only. Keep away from fire.”

Made in Sweden. The wool is recycled felted offcuts from Woolpower’s production and the sewing is done by a local manufacturer in Jämtland.
