A rigid case rather than a soft bag. Trangia’s reason for it is simple: “to protect your stove from scratches and dents.” Aluminum is soft, and a storm cooker loose in a vehicle drawer will get dinged. This one fits the Trangia stove 27 Small.

🔴 One thing Trangia do not say: whether the burner and pots can stay inside the stove when it goes in the case. We would expect so, but they do not publish it and we are not going to guess at an internal dimension.

Made in China. Trangia states it plainly in their FAQ: production is in Sweden, and only the fabric cases are made in China. This is one of those.
