The Sven-Saw is the folding bow saw that other folding saws get compared to. The tempered Swedish steel blade folds safely and completely into the high-strength anodized aluminum frame, so it travels as a flat stick with no exposed teeth and assembles into a rigid bow in seconds.

A bow saw cuts firewood faster than a folding pruning saw of the same weight, because the blade is under tension and does not flex in the cut.

The 15 in model came later than the original, designed at the request of hikers who wanted something lighter. At 11.1 oz it is under two-thirds of a pound, and it still rips through 4 in logs.

Frame made in the USA — manufactured and packaged in Duluth, Minnesota. The blade is made from Swedish steel.
