A small lantern that does two jobs: a cool white working light when you need to see what you are doing, and a warm “campfire glow” when you just want the table lit. A 360-degree frosted shade spreads it evenly rather than throwing a hot spot.

The dual-hook design lets you hang it or tilt it to aim, and there is a lock function so it does not switch itself on in a pack. The battery indicator shows red or green through the lens, and the housing is made from recycled plastic.

This lantern is not USB rechargeable. Rechargeable operation is possible only with Silva’s optional Hybrid battery. Silva sells a separate, brighter model — the Glow Recharge, 350 lumens with a built-in USB-C battery — if that is what you are after.

Silva publishes no height or diameter for the Glow, so no dimensions are listed. Silva’s own page gives both a two-year and a five-year warranty figure in different places; the shorter one is quoted here.

Liberty Mountain lists this as “Glow 250 Lantern”. The manufacturer’s model name is simply Silva Glow — 250 is the lumen output, not a model number.
