A terminal fuse mounts straight onto the battery post, which is the correct place for the main fuse in any serious 12V build — as close to the source as physically possible, so a chafed cable anywhere downstream cannot start a fire.

This is the replacement element, 200 amps. Fuses are consumables: if one has blown, something caused it, and you want the spare in the drawer rather than a 200 mile drive away. Worth buying one with the install and a second one to keep.
