A single amber LED rock light for a Ruff Rax rack.

Rock lights throw light down and out rather than forward. Mounted under a bed rack or along the underside of a roof platform, they light the ground beside the truck — which is what you actually want when you are setting up camp in the dark, hitching a trailer, or picking a line over rocks at walking pace.

Amber cuts through dust and fog better than white, and it preserves night vision. If you want flat, neutral light for working on something, take the white version instead.

Sold singly. An eight-light kit is also available. One pound.
