Hooks arrive in packets and end up loose, and most boxes only handle one of those states. This one is built on two levels: packaged hooks stay in their sleeves on one tier, loose hooks sit sorted in compartments on the other. You stop emptying a packet into a tray just because there was nowhere else to put it.

Like the rest of the EDGE Professional range it runs a Dri-Loc O-ring seal and Rustrictor rust inhibitor moulded into the base, so the air inside the closed box actively works against corrosion rather than just being dry. There is a reusable WaterWick moisture-wicking packet in there too, which matters more than it sounds if you fish salt or close it up with damp hands.

Clear polycarbonate lid, EZ Label strip, and a latch you can open holding a rod in the other hand.

Who should skip it. If your hooks live in their packets in a drawer and never go near water, this is more box than you need. It earns its price on a boat, in salt, or anywhere hooks are getting opened wet and put away wet.
