Telescoping carbon-composite poles at 14.8 oz for the pair — slightly lighter than the folding version, and simpler. They adjust from 25.6 to 51.2 in, so they shorten for a climb and lengthen for a descent.

If packed length is what matters to you, the folding Uinta goes down to 14.2 in against this one’s 25.6 in. If weight and simplicity matter more, this is the one.

Note the shaft material: Peregrine states 66% carbon — a carbon composite, not 100% carbon fiber. That is a sensible build at this price; pure carbon costs considerably more and is more brittle.

Liberty Mountain does not publish the locking mechanism type, so we do not name one — do not assume a lever lock or a twist lock.

Liberty Mountain publishes no consumer warranty for the Peregrine line, so we make no warranty claim here. If a product arrives faulty, contact us and we will deal with it.
