A high-strength nylon accessory cord with a 550 lb strength rating at 1/8 in (3 mm) diameter — thinner than standard 550 paracord, which makes it the better choice where bulk matters: tarp ridgelines, zipper pulls, lashings and repairs.

Specifications

• High-strength nylon accessory cord
• 550 lb strength rating
• Diameter 1/8 in (3 mm)

Note the difference from Peregrine’s 550 paracord. Liberty Mountain describes this cord as accessory cord rather than Type III 550 paracord, and publishes no inner-strand count for it. It is 3 mm, where the Type III cord is 4 mm. If you specifically need Type III with seven pullable inner strands, buy one of the colors from that range instead — we have not conflated the two here.

Not for climbing or life support.

This is a 3,000 ft trade spool. It is a wholesale quantity for an outfitter, a workshop or an organization kitting out in volume. For a vehicle or a pack, buy the 50 ft or 100 ft length.
