A military-style off-road trailer built to go where the vehicle towing it goes.

Suspension and clearance: independent coil spring trailing arms with 7 inches of travel and ground clearance up to 33.75 inches at the lowest suspension point. That is what separates an off-road trailer from a utility trailer with knobbly tires — it articulates over the same terrain you do instead of dragging or bottoming out.

Braking and safety: electric 10 inch drum brakes with a parking brake, a manual parking brake for roll control on any terrain, and an integrated breakaway system. DOT tail, brake and side marker lights, marine-grade wiring with Deutsch connectors, and a 7-pin harness that integrates with the vehicle.

Build: electrostatic plated undercoat with electrostatic plated rhino lining in the bed, marine-grade 304 stainless hardware, heavy-duty spring pull latch on the tailgate, and a removable heavy-duty jockey wheel and tongue jack. Front coupler takes a 2 inch ball or a pintle hook.

265/70/17 tires and wheels are included.

This is the 5 x 5 bolt pattern version.

Match the bolt pattern to your tow vehicle if you can. It is the single most useful decision you will make about this trailer: if the trailer's wheels match the truck's, one spare covers both. Get it wrong and you are carrying two spares into the backcountry, or gambling that you will not need the one you left behind.

The 5 x 5 pattern is the Jeep pattern — JK, JL and Gladiator.
