A 3.4 oz pump spray of oil of lemon eucalyptus repellent.

Oil of lemon eucalyptus is a plant-derived repellent with real evidence behind it, which is unusual — most "natural" repellents do not hold up. It is the one botanical option recognised alongside DEET and picaridin.

Protects against mosquitoes and ticks. It smells strongly of lemon, which most people prefer to DEET and some find too much — worth knowing before you buy.

Reapply more often than you would with picaridin; the botanical formulation does not last as long.

One label warning that matters: oil of lemon eucalyptus is not for children under three years old. For younger children, use the picaridin products instead.
