This is not a lid, despite the name on the box. The Easy Sipper is a ring that snaps down inside the neck of a wide mouth bottle and narrows the opening so it does not slosh over your chin. You keep using your normal loop-top cap over the top of it. It has no threads of its own.

We are leading with that because the supplier calls it a “lid” and people order it expecting a cap. It is the cheapest fix for the one real complaint about a wide mouth Nalgene: that drinking from it while moving is messy.

Why we are not printing a weight. Nalgene’s page lists 2.4 oz (68 g) for this part, which is heavier than their own loop-top cap and cannot be right for a thin snap-in ring — other retailers put it under an ounce. And although several sellers market it as a “63 mm” item, that is the neck it seats into, not a thread size. Calling it a 63 mm lid is exactly how people end up ordering the wrong thing.
