Two corrections to the way these are usually sold.

• The material is Tritan, not Tritan Renew. Nalgene’s own jar pages say “Tritan” and make no recycled-content statement at all. The “Sustain” name and the recycled-plastic language come from the distributor’s catalog. The up-to-50% recycled content figure that applies to Nalgene’s Sustain bottles is not published for these jars, so we are not claiming it.
• Made in Mexico, not the USA. Nalgene states this outright in their country-of-origin field on all four sizes. Their bottles are largely US-made; the jars are not, and the two get conflated constantly.

Why there is no weight or dimension above. Nalgene publishes no dimensions for any size, and lists the identical 4.8 oz weight for the 4, 8, 16 and 32 oz jars — plainly a template error. If the external size decides whether it fits your box, ask us and we will measure one.

Kitchen or Outdoor — what the difference actually is. Nalgene publishes one jar line in these sizes. The Kitchen and Outdoor split is the distributor’s catalog naming, carrying two sets of item numbers for what Nalgene documents as the same jar, and every published specification is identical between them. Nalgene does sell these with white and with blue lids, so a lid color is the likeliest real difference — but neither Nalgene nor the distributor states which line gets which. Go by the photograph, and if the lid color matters to you, ask us and we will confirm the one in stock before it ships.

Dishwasher safe. Nalgene publishes no temperature rating for the jars.

Lifetime guarantee

Nalgene covers functional damage — cracks, breaks, broken components from normal intended use — under a Lifetime Guarantee. It excludes cosmetic damage such as scratches, nicks and worn printing, excludes lost or stolen items, and excludes Epic filtration products, which Nalgene routes to Epic Water Filters. Nalgene also states that claims are subject to review and may be rejected. Claims go through Nalgene with a photo and proof of purchase; they ask for 14 to 21 days.
