Nalgene’s classic neoprene sleeve. It fits snugly around a 32 ounce bottle and does three useful things: takes the edge off a cold drink warming up, keeps a hot one hot a little longer, and stops the outside sweating so the bottle does not slip out of your hand or soak the inside of a pack.

One fitment caution. Nalgene says only “fits snugly around 32-ounce bottle” — they do not distinguish wide mouth from narrow mouth, and they say nothing about clearance for a tall cap. On their insulated sleeve, Nalgene’s own staff have stated that an On-The-Fly cap will not fit inside; we would expect the same here. If you run an On-The-Fly or MultiDrink lid, ask us before you order.

Why there is no weight above. Nalgene prints the same 4.8 oz figure on every sleeve they sell — plain, insulated and zippered alike. That is a default value in their data, not a measurement, so we have left it out rather than repeat it.

Origin: imported. Nalgene does not apply its Made-in-USA statement to any of its fabric accessories, and we are not going to apply it for them.
