This item is too large to go by UPS or FedEx, so it travels on a freight truck (LTL).

The annex encloses the space underneath the tent — the area around the ladder becomes a changing room, a place to store boots and gear out of the weather, or somewhere to stand up and get dressed without climbing down first. On a longer trip it is the difference between sleeping in your vehicle and camping out of it.

Buying the pair together costs less than the two separately. Both pieces are also sold individually if you already own one of them.
Before you order: a roof top tent needs a rated rack underneath it. Check the dynamic load rating of your rack — the figure that applies while driving, not the parked figure.
Ships by freight. Inspect the crates before signing the delivery receipt.
Fabric and warranty: 280G ripstop poly-cotton oxford with a 3500 PU waterproof rating. HD carries a 4 year fabric warranty and a 4 year structural warranty.
