The 270 LT is the middle of the three 270-degree awnings — lighter and more compact than the full-size 270, with the same wrap-around geometry that shades the side, the rear corner and the tailgate together.

Where the LT sits in the range:

• 270 — the largest canopy and the most shade, and the most weight and rack space
• 270 LT — this one. Meaningful coverage at a lower weight and price
• 270 LTE — the lightest and most compact of the three

If your rack is already carrying a roof top tent and a cargo box, the LT is usually the sensible answer — a full 270 is a lot of awning to hang off a loaded rack.
