The 270 wraps from the side of the vehicle around the rear corner to the tailgate. Add Walls 1, 2 and 3 and that sweep becomes an enclosed room: a door and window on Wall 1, a window on Wall 2, and Wall 3 closing the far end.

Walls turn an awning into a room. Shade is only half the problem on a long trip — wind carries dust through camp, afternoon sun comes in sideways under the canopy, and rain blows in no matter how well you pitched it. Zipping walls onto the awning gives you an enclosed space you can cook in, change in, and sit in when the weather turns.

This is the package to buy if you are starting from nothing. Buying the awning and the walls separately gets you to the same place, but this way there is no chance of ordering a driver-side wall for a passenger-side awning.
