The HD Nomadic 180 LTE is the light version of the 180 — same half-circle layout, shading the side of the vehicle and wrapping around the rear corner, in a smaller and lighter package.

LTE is the answer to a loaded rack. If you are already carrying a roof top tent, a cargo box, or traction boards, hanging a full-weight awning off the side is asking a lot of the crossbars. The LTE trades some canopy for weight you do not have to account for.

It is also the easiest of the 180s to deploy solo, which matters more than the spec sheet suggests when you are setting up camp in the wind on your own.

Grey body with green trim and a black travel cover.

Note on walls: the LTE takes its own wall kits, sold separately, and LTE walls ship as two-wall sets. Walls from the full-size 180 or 270 are not interchangeable — check the model on the wall listing before ordering.

Fabric and warranty: 280G ripstop poly-cotton oxford with a 3500 PU waterproof rating. HD carries a 4 year fabric warranty and a 4 year structural warranty.
