Two wine glasses that will not break and barely register in a pack. Each holds 9.3 fluid ounces, and both stems unscrew so the bases snap into the bowls for storage. You get four pieces in the box: two glasses and two nesting stem bases. 3.1 x 3.1 x 9 inches assembled.

“Nesting” here does not mean one glass inside another. The stem unscrews at the middle, and the base then snaps into the bowl, so the glass packs as two flat-ish pieces instead of a tall fragile shape. GSI's own words: “the base snaps into rim for efficient packing and storing.”

These are plastic, and that is deliberate. BPA-free copolyester, which GSI describe as giving “excellent impact resistance” — their own page title calls the set shatterproof. Drop one on granite and pick it up again. GSI also state they are “suitable for both warm and cold beverages,” so mulled wine on a cold night is within spec.

Worth being clear before you order: this is a two-pack of plastic glasses at $22.95. Our Glacier Stainless Nesting Wine Glass is one glass in metal at $17.95. People see “nesting wine glass” on both and assume one is a two-pack of the other. They are different products in different materials.

Care

Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly; avoid abrasive cleaners. GSI do not state that any of their drinkware is dishwasher safe — every piece in the range carries the same hand-wash instruction. Hand wash it.
