For use on gas, electric or induction stove tops — GSI state all three, which is more than most camp espresso makers manage.

Ninety seconds is the number that matters. This is not a brewing method you set up and wait on. Light the stove, and by the time the stove is warm you have espresso.

The double-wall cup comes with it, so there is nothing else to buy and nothing to burn your hand on.

Grind fine. This is the one product in the range that needs a fine grind, and a burr grinder is what gets you there.

Read these two warnings. GSI say: use over low heat only, and not for microwave or campfire use. A sealed pressure vessel on an open fire is the one way to get this badly wrong. Do not fill above the safety valve.

Stainless steel and nylon. Comes in a foam case, so it survives a camp box.

Hand wash. GSI warn that dishwashers may prematurely age the components. Nothing in this range is listed as dishwasher safe.
