A 40 fl oz stainless steel French press carafe, built to go on heat. Stainless body with a wood-accented knob and silicone-insulated folding handles.

Forty ounces is the group size — four decent mugs from one brew, which is the difference between making coffee once and making it three times.

Boil in it, brew in it. GSI describe it as tough enough for open-flame cooking and refined enough for full-bodied coffee. One vessel does the kettle's job and the press's job.

Includes a stainless steel French press filter, a wood-accented knob and a silicone trivet that doubles as a pot gripper.

Silicone-insulated folding handles fold flat for packing.

Nothing to shatter, nothing to warp. Grind coarse.

Handle with extreme caution — it will be hot after boiling water.

Hand wash. GSI warn that dishwashers may prematurely age the components. Nothing in this range is listed as dishwasher safe.
