Crossbars for the Expedition Truck Cap, sold as a pair. They mount to the cap's integrated roof rails and are what let you carry a roof top tent, an awning, a shower tent, storage boxes, kayaks or skis on top of the cap.

Capacity: 325 lb dynamic, 750 lb static. The dynamic figure is what governs anything carried while driving — check a roof top tent's weight against it before ordering.

The bars use a low-profile 2.75 inch aerodynamic section, which is there to keep wind noise down. On a cap you drive every day, that matters more than the spec sheet suggests.

The extra width is not only about the cap: a longer bar gives more usable mounting length, which matters if you are fitting a wide roof top tent or carrying two items side by side.
