A carry case in X-Pac — the laminated sailcloth that ultralight pack makers use — with a nylon mesh panel, sized for a 18 cm frying pan. The mesh matters: a pan that goes away slightly damp will dry rather than sour.

Evernew publish a second use worth knowing: it doubles as a temporary ground sheet for gear you do not want to put straight in the dirt.

Which pan it fits

The number is the pan diameter in centimeters — confirmed on Evernew’s own pages, which describe each case as being for a “frying pan with diameter 18 cm.” So this one fits our 18 cm Ultralight Aluminum Pan.

One cross-reference caution: the distributor’s own case page lists a set of stock numbers for compatible pans, only one of which is a pan we actually carry. The centimeter figure is the reliable guide, not their list.

Where these numbers come from, honestly. Evernew run a Japanese catalog and a US catalog that use different part numbers for the same product, and they have retired a third older set. The part number this item is sold under is no longer live on Evernew’s site. The specifications above are Evernew’s published figures for EBY694, the current product that replaced it — the dimensions and weights match the older figures to within a few grams. We are showing you that rather than presenting a dead part number’s specs as if they were still published.

Warranty

Evernew offer a one-year limited warranty. Not a lifetime guarantee — we mention it because several brands in this category do offer one and it would be easy to assume.

Made in China. Evernew publish this for their fabric cases.
