The stand worth paying for. Two pieces of titanium that hold the pot and double as wind protection — which on an alcohol stove is not a luxury, because a breeze will push the flame off the bottom of the pot and double your boil time.

There is a further trick: with Evernew’s Power Plate fitted at the bottom (a separate item we do not currently stock), the DX Stand will also burn solid fuel and twigs. That turns one piece of kit into three stoves.

🔴 Evernew publish no weight for this stand. We can tell you it is heavier than the 16-gram Cross Stand, and that the DX Set — stove plus both stand pieces — comes to a figure Evernew also do not publish. The one weight they do publish in this family lets you work it out partly: the complete Ti Mug Pot 500 Stove Set is 161 g, of which the stove is 34 g and the pot is 75 g, leaving about 52 g for the two stand pieces. That is arithmetic from Evernew’s own figures, not a published spec.

Warranty

Evernew offer a one-year limited warranty. Not a lifetime guarantee — we mention it because several brands in this category do offer one and it would be easy to assume.
