The lighter sibling of the fiberglass kit. Where that one replaces a destroyed section, this one splints a crack or a split before it becomes a break — which is the repair you actually want to be making.

Inspect your poles when you pack up, not when you pitch. A hairline split in an aluminium section will run the length of the pole the next time it flexes under wind load. Sleeve it early and the pole finishes the season.

Light enough that there is no argument for leaving it at home.
