A nine-cup stainless steel camp coffee pot with a percolator basket and a glass knob in the lid.

Percolated coffee needs three things: the pot, water, and ground coffee. No paper filters to forget, no pods, no electricity, no pump. It works on a camp stove, over a fire, or on a home range when the power is out.

Stainless steel rather than enamel, so chips are not a concern and it cleans up without ceremony.

Watch the glass knob on the lid — when it starts bubbling brown, it is working. Pull it off the heat when the colour looks right. Nine cups covers three or four people with refills.
