A battery-operated portable shower: a completely submersible, waterproof pump with a flow control shower head and a kink-resistant EPDM rubber hose.

Motor 3.7 V. Rechargeable lithium-ion, 10.5 W / 2200 mAh. USB-C rechargeable. 40 minutes of continuous use per charge.

This is a fundamentally different thing from a solar shower, and the difference is the water source. A solar bag holds the water you carried. This pump drops into whatever water is already there — a lake, a river, a bucket, a jerry can — and pushes it through a shower head.

The pump unit has a built-in filter so it draws from natural sources without clogging. That is what makes it usable at a lake edge rather than only at a tap.

Forty minutes of continuous running is a lot of showers, because nobody runs a shower continuously. With the flow-control head it is a weekend for a couple.

USB-C means it charges from the same cable, power bank and vehicle socket as everything else you carry. No proprietary brick to lose.

It also rinses a dog, a wetsuit, muddy recovery boards and the underside of a vehicle — anywhere you want pressurised water and there is no tap.

No reservoir is included. This is the pump, hose and head; you supply the water source.
